Introduction

Welcome to the Program for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Culture blog.

The Program for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Culture (PSERC), formerly Race Scholars at Rice, is a campus-wide program under the Kinder Institue of Urban Research dedicated to advancing the intellectual community of scholars whose work examines the relevance of race in all its dimensions. PSERC will accomplish this mission by serving as an intellectual resource to the university, supporting the graduate students who investigate race-related issues, acting as a convener and facilitator of interdisciplinary research collaborations, and enhancing the visibility of scholarly work on race.

Please visit our page at the Kinder Institute website for information on upcoming events and other resources, like us on Facebook, and follow us Twitter.
