Dr. Jenifer Bratter is the director of the Program for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Culture and an Associate Professor of Sociology at Rice University. Her research explores the implications of race and racial mixing (i.e. interracial families, multiracial identity) in the areas of family, identity, and social inequality.

Cristopher Driscoll is a third year graduate student in the Religious Studies department of Rice University. His work addresses the intersection of race, religion and culture.

Nessette Falu is a PhD candidate in the Anthropology department of Rice University. Her work addresses black lesbians in New York City and sexual health.

Uzma Quraishi is a PhD Candidate in the History Department at Rice University. She studies the construction of race by South Asian immigrants migrating to the US between 1965 and 1980.
